Thanks for coming!

So Infest 2010 is over and we just wanted to thank everyone involved - all the bands and DJs, the technical crew and venue staff, our traders and advertisers, and of course everyone who supported the event and came out for a fun-filled weekend.

We think it went pretty well and it was good to be back so who knows - maybe we will do it again next year!

Lastly a very special thank you to everyone who made a donation to our two charities for this year. You helped us raise just over £2000!

We hope you all had a blast. Keep watching this space for any news on a possible Infest 2011.

Cheers
The Infest crew

Various updates

Hello folks!

Infest 2010 is drawing ever closer so it's time for some news updates!

We're very close to selling out so tickets are now only available through MNS, Ticketweb and Infest HQ. Don't leave it too long or you may miss out!

Wondering what to do on Saturday and Sunday morning? Want to sweat out that hangover? Well, now you can because the University is offering Infest goers a special discounted price to use their gym and pool over the Infest weekend. More details will be posted on our site soon.

As usual, we will be raising money for two charities over the Infest weekend: the Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Guide Dogs Association. Both are very deserving causes and we're proud to support them - please don't be shy when the collecting tins come round - every little helps!

Finally, on a serious note, Bradford Police have informed us that the reported EDL demonstration (and, presumably, all the associated counter-group demos) is very likely to take place on Saturday 28th August in Bradford City Centre. All businesses (including hotels) have been advised of the situation and, if you cannot avoid the city centre, you are urged to take extra precautions for your safety. Get taxis, share taxis, don't leave people walking around on their own...

We want everyone attending Infest to be safe - please keep the Infest spirit alive and contine to look out for each other.

More news updates soon!

Cheers

The Infest Crew

Tickets and Accommodation selling fast!

It looks as though Infest 2010 is going to sell out in record time! We expect to have sold out by the end of June - do not leave it too long or you will miss out on possibly the event of the year in the alternative electronic scene...

Tickets are going fast - we only have 150 tickets left and we expect to sell out well in advance of the weekend so don't leave it too long!

Accommodation has also been selling fast with 70% of our halls rooms already gone - again don't leave it too long if you want to book this cheap, clean, safe accommodation for the weekend.

Final DJs for this year's event will be announced soon!

Keep checking the website for news as it happens, or sign up for one of the RSS news feed options to keep abreast of developments.

Political demonstrations in Bradford

It has come to our attention that the 'English Defence League' are planning to demonstrate in Bradford town centre on Saturday 28th August.

This demonstration may not actually happen but as a precaution we are working with the venue and the local police.

At the moment it appears that the venue and it's immediate surroundings should not be directly affected as the demonstration appears to be planned for the town centre only. However, it makes sense to be wary of this issue and to perhaps plan to avoid the town centre and other potential hot spots should they become known on the Saturday - and to take extra care if travelling alone to and from the venue.
